Hello Sue and Bob,
Wayne and I had a very enjoyable visit at your B&B. Thank you for making our stay a memorable occasion for our anniversary.
We thoroughly enjoyed the night skies and looking at the stars from your beautiful property. The day spent at Mesa Verde exploring the cliff dwellings was very interesting. Of course, one day wasn’t nearly long enough to see everything which means a return visit.
How are Chester, Oreo, JD and Morris. We enjoyed them all, but especially Morris . What a cute kitty!!!
We hope you are both doing well and hope to see you again soon.
Thank you for your gracious hospitality and the awesome breakfasts.

During our recent visit to Mesa Verde, we found Sundance Lodge to surpass all of our expectations. The rooms were spacious and clean and the kitchen well appointed. The deck was wonderful for an evening glass of wine or watching the sun rise over the nearby mountains. Our hosts, Bob and Sue Scott, were extremely considerate, being appropriately available when needed and equally important, appropriately absent. Sundance Lodge was one of the highlights of our trip.

Dear Sue & Bob,
We very much enjoyed our stay with you early last month. When we left we drove on to Chaco and had a great time there before driving back to Phoenix. Our trip had departed Phoenix the previous Thursday and included Sedona, Flag, Walnut Canyon, Red Mountain, the Grand Canyon, Betatakin at Navajo Nat Monument, Monument Valley, the Four Corners and, of course, your lovely home outside of Mancos, and Chaco. As you know this was the first time west for Missy and Mindy had not been to any of the sites other than Sedona and the Canyon. I always enjoy returning to AZ. I think I would recommend seeing Mesa Verde off season – and avoid the crowds. However, we were at the Canyon during Spring Break – and that was a mistake…
Thanks again for a great stay!

thanks for your E-Mail. Unfortunately the “real life” has caught us totally again. It is now about three weeks ago (no, exactly 3 wks) that we have been in your lovely and nice place. We really enjoyed staying there, we enjoyed your hospitality and your nice home (as well as your cats and dogs) and also the nice company. It keeps in our mind much more than one of those anonymous but efficient motels and hotels we have seen everywhere. Thanks for that and we also hope to come again (not very soon – I guess).
Until then all the best for you both,
Best Regards / Freundliche Grüße
Thanks for getting in touch… the time we spent with you at Sundance Bear was great… personally I wouldn’t change a thing (except maybe the dates)…
We had a wonderful room and a great host and hostess, we would like to thank you for your care and attention and we would recommend Sundance Bear to anyone who is thinking of staying with you.
Couldn’t have stayed at a nicer place…,
Best Wishes / Eddie & Jean (England)
Sue and Bob and Morris/Maurice, Our wonderful retreat last weekend at Sundance carried us through the week. We enjoyed the peace, the fireplace, the cat therapy, the comfortable room, the breakfast, and good conversation with you. Sue, my regards to Hinsdale if you get back there before I do. I hope your reunion will be a lot of fun. You are on our list for future reference and we hope our paths will cross again, Vicki & Don
Dear Sue and Bob,
Thanks a lot for your message. The stay at your lodge has been among the very best impressions during our trip. I still need some time to manage the jet leg and even more to arrange the photos and notes- I still have not finalized the pictures from the cruise! May be I am bad organized but apart of nice traveling there are plenty of things to do for living, so I am back to job at full strength.
I am not registered at Facebook but can promise you to place some true nice words on the lodge at my web site as well as in the article in my magazine in April. You will get some photos beforehand. I have no idea when we could return to the 4 Corners- the trip is not short from Moscow but the Monuments Valley is still in my plans.
Again, thanks a lot for a warm hearted reception and all the best to you and pets with a special one to Moriz!
Yours sincerely, Olga and Yury
Dear Friends, Many Thanks for your e-card. Christmas has been very nice. The Sundance Bear Lodge is a wonderful memory for us. Our stay in your house was absolutely unexpected and marvelous. Thank you for giving us so much happiness… We wish you (Do not forget Maurice), a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year Astrid and Alain (september 2012)
Hello Sue and Bob
Regarding the pictures taken during our trip through the different National Parks of your beautiful country we share again all the nice things we saw and we will always remember the lovely stay with you.
I will put an appreciation at the different sites : trip adviser etc.
I don’t know what you can do to improve more your B&B , for 4 of us all was perfect : the welcome , the rooms , the breakfast , the surrounding. Unfortunately our schedule took not into account your B&B was worthy a longer stay.
We wish you a Merry Chrismas and a Happy Safe and Sound New Year.

Good Morning Bob and Sue,
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
We truly enjoyed our visit. I hope someday to return with my husband!
Everything was perfect…….the bed, the food, the coffee and your hospitality.
ah, and Morris…………….
Saturday was a good travel day………watching the kids in costume board the Pumpkin Patch Express in Durango, lunch in Pagossa Springs where Carlyle and I had stayed 40 some years ago, watching the train in Chama and then , what must be one of the best kept secrets in the USA, the 100 mile drive from Chama to Santa Fe.
Peace, Sheila R Aberdeen SD and ABQ NM
PS It was especially thoughtful of you to make the gluten free bread!
